What will happen at the Remote Reservation event?

  • The Remote Reservation restaurant will be open for one day only on Wednesday 24th May, where chef Chris Roberts will cook and serve a locally curated multi-course menu. All food will be cooked on Gozney’s portable oven, the Roccbox, and will offer guests breath taking views of the Jurassic Coast. There will be 5x pairs of 2x tickets available for this exclusive Remote Reservation experience.

  • Where is the Remote Reservation event taking place?

  • Our event will take place on the Jurassic Coast, Dorset. Guests will need to input the phrase ///website.mandolin.storming into What3Words to find the exact location.
  • How do I get the opportunity to visit the Remote Reservation?

  • You will need to fill in the Remote Reservation registration form, outlining all personal details, accessibility and dietary requirements. The form can be accessed here. The successful applicants will receive a place at the Gozney Remote Reservation experience on Wednesday 24th May 2023.
  • Are the tickets complimentary? 

  • Yes, they’re completely free. 
  • What does the ticket include?

  • Guests will enjoy a multi-course lunch, consisting of fresh and locally sourced dishes cooked using live-fire on Gozney’s ovens. 
  • How will I know if was successful at getting a ticket?

  • The 5x pairs of successful applicants will be notified via the email address provided or via a telephone call on Wednesday 17th May 2023. 
  • How do I confirm my place? 

  • The successful applicants must confirm by written acceptance of their place at the experience within 48 hours of being notified.
  • Does the location accommodate my accessibility needs?

  • The Remote Reservation event is an alfresco dining experience that takes place on the Jurassic Coast – which can potentially have a rough terrain. If you require additional assistance or have medical needs that you’d like to communicate with us, please reach out to us so we can help you enjoy the event to the fullest. Please keep in mind that there is an implied Assumption of Risk of Damage or Injury at our events. We work tirelessly to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, but we do encounter a variety of terrains and climates and weather can change without warning.   • Can I bring my own beverages or food?

  • No, our event will include food and beverages during the lunch sitting.
  • Can I bring my pet?

  • No, we don’t allow any pets at the Remote Reservation event.
  • Are children allowed? 

  • No, our event is for adults only aged 18+.
  • What are the timings of the Remote Reservation event?

  • The event will be open from 12:30-2:30pm on Wednesday 24th May 2023.
  • What if it rains?

  • The event will take place whether it’s sunny or raining. In the case of rain, we will provide shelter for the table but we recommend guests check the weather and dress appropriately. 
  • What shall I wear?

  • The Remote Reservation event is an alfresco dining experience that takes place on the Jurassic Coast – which can potentially have a rough terrain. Please dress accordingly and remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket to keep you warm.
  • Will I be able to see the menu before I arrive?

  • Our Remote Reservation chef, Chris Roberts, has created a menu that includes a starter of Burnt Leek and Goats Cheese, followed by locally caught catch of the day, Lamb Chops with Spiced Butter, Charred Salsa Criolla and Pickles and finally a Burnt Cheesecake.
  • What if I have dietary requirements?

  • Due to the family style nature of our meals and in order to uphold the highest quality standards possible, we only accommodate vegetarian restrictions. The meals at our events are meant to be enjoyed family style and are for adventurous eaters, and, while we do our best to make accommodations for guests, we are not able to promise that a meal will be free of one particular ingredient.
  • Please ensure that you fill in the dietary requirements question when registering interest. When you inform us of your dietary restriction, we note it on your reservation, and we kindly ask that you let your server know on the day of the event so they can point out any dishes that might be a problem for you so you can avoid them.
  • If your allergy is deadly or poses serious health risks (especially if it pertains to a common ingredient such as onions or garlic), we would encourage you to refrain from attending the event, as we feel more comfortable knowing that you will be safe given our rustic outdoor kitchen.
